The murder of Nina Hilt changed the course of our adoption. She was adopbted in the same court we are adopting our girls from. Our court date was scheduled for July 28 with our first meeting with the Judge on July 18.
After meeting with the Judge we withdrew our papers as the Judge stated if we came to court she would deny the adoption, basing her decision on nothing more than her own feelings about the death of little Nina.
